Dear Miller Bay Residents,
We’d like to share a few important updates with the community:
As many of you know, a fire recently occurred at a home on Beachwood. Although the HOA board has been working for several years to address concerns at this property, it sadly took a dangerous event to prompt immediate action.
๐ You can read the official press release from North Kitsap Fire & Rescue here:
https://www.nkfr.org/press-releases
We’ve submitted an inquiry about the installation of additional fire hydrants and are also investigating the community’s low water pressure issues. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
Join us for a Community Fire Safety Meeting at the Clubhouse:
This meeting will include a brief review of the Beachwood incident, followed by a discussion on fire safety and prevention.
Please note: this is not a forum for complaints due to time constraints. If you have a question or concern you’d like the Fire Department to address, please email it in advance to: mbe98370@gmail.com
We strongly encourage all residents to inspect the exterior of your property for potential fire hazards. Remove debris, trim overgrowth, and dispose of flammable materials.
Our Community Cleanup is planned for June or July, but please be aware it will be limited in what the HOA can haul away for free. Start preparing now if you have larger loads to take to the dump.
We want to address misinformation that was shared during an incident on May 6:
โ Fact: These statements are entirely false.
HOA dues were due April 30, 2025. Late payments will incur fees and interest unless you’ve made and maintained a payment arrangement.
If you've arranged a payment plan and stay current, late fees and interest do not apply.
Payments should be mailed to:
Miller Bay Estates
P.O. Box 554
Kingston, WA 98346
Please do not leave mail at the clubhouse or in the exterior information box.
๐ For properties with severe delinquencies, the HOA may place liens, as permitted by law. These properties are not listed publicly on the website.
๐ All financial information is available upon request. Please email: mbe98370@gmail.com
We’re also working to update the “Where Do Our Dues Go?” FAQ slide soon.
Neither the HOA President nor any board members are paid. We are all volunteers working to maintain and protect our community.
